Getting started

SupplySynk keeps your products, stock, orders and suppliers in one place, on a computer or a phone. This page takes you from a new account to a working inventory.

1. Create your account and business

Sign up at supplysynk.com/register with your email or Google. You then choose your country (United States or India) and currency, name your business and choose its address (like yourshop.supplysynk.com), which becomes your online store once you publish it. You are the business's owner.

The country sets how money, dates, addresses and phone numbers show. Choosing India picks rupees (₹1,23,456.00 with lakh and crore grouping), dates like 15 Oct 2026, the Asia/Kolkata time zone, an address form with your State/UT and 6-digit PIN code, +91 phone numbers, and a financial year from April to March. The United States keeps dollars, Oct 15, 2026 dates, State and ZIP code. You can change the country, currency and time zone later under Settings → Business profile → Country and currency until your first order or purchase order; after that they're fixed, because amounts already recorded are in that currency.

You and your team work at app.supplysynk.com: sign in there on any computer or phone. Your business address (and your own domain, if you've connected one) shows your online store; back-office pages opened there take you to app.supplysynk.com with your business open.

2. Follow the setup checklist

The Dashboard shows a checklist until you're set up. Each step ticks itself when the work is done, so it never goes stale:

  1. Tell us about your business: fill in at least half of your business profile (what you do, address, hours, logo…) under Settings → Business profile.
  2. Add your products: one at a time, or import a spreadsheet. See Products.
  3. Record what's in stock: set quantities on the Inventory page. See Stock.
  4. Add product photos: open a product (row menu → Edit or View Details) and add photos, or take them with your phone. The step counts the products on the Products page, variants included and archived products left out, and is done when at least half have a photo.
  5. Label your stock: add barcodes and print labels.
  6. Invite your team: see Team and permissions.
  7. Connect an AI assistant (optional): see AI assistants (MCP).

Hiding the checklist only hides it on that device. It goes away for everyone once every step is done.

3. Sell and restock

  • Sell in store with Square? Connect it so every sale updates stock: Square.
  • Take orders by hand or through the API: Orders.
  • Reorder from suppliers when stock runs low: Purchasing.

4. Keep an eye on things

  • The bell at the top of every page lists what needs attention: products to reorder, products out of stock, orders to fulfil, Square sales that didn't sync.
  • Insights shows what sold, what's not selling and what your stock is worth: Insights.

On your phone

Everything works in your phone's browser. The Scan button at the top uses the camera to find a product by barcode, adjust its stock or count it. Add it to your home screen from the browser's share menu for one-tap access.
